Edin and Lina Kjellvertz, founders of Dusty Deco, began their journey into the world of design ten years ago, rooted in a shared passion for unique furniture and decorative pieces. Initially, they scoured flea markets, transforming their home into a curated gallery of eclectic finds. As their collection grew, they realized there was a demand for the distinctive items they loved.
Their design process reflects their commitment to creating pieces that evoke warmth and character, catching the eye and demonstrating what they would choose to have in their own homes. They believe in surrounding themselves with things they love, a philosophy that infuses their work and their goal to continually design furniture they would want to keep longterm.
Edin and Lina draw inspiration from the life happening around them. Their move to Mallorca has further shaped their aesthetic, where vibrant colors and historic architecture influence their designs. With a fondness for the eclectic styles of Southern Europe from the ’50s to the ’70s, combined with an appreciation for Almodovar's maximalist approach, they present design collections featuring inspiring combinations. Edin and Lina love to experiment with contrasts in their designs, blending materials and proportions. They combine the elegant with the chunky, wood with marble, and soft fabrics with polished surfaces. Their approach is all about creating a harmonious blend of elements they love from different eras.
Bross is a Stockholm-based architectural firm, devoted to crafting spaces that blend classical elegance with a touch of playfulness—bold yet disciplined.
Their expertise spans private residences, interiors, and furniture design. They specialize in constructing enduring buildings, timeless interiors, and lasting furniture pieces. Bross holds a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and materials. In an era where craftsmanship often prioritizes appearance over quality, they delve into the intricacies, master techniques, and start from the inherent qualities of materials.
Their approach is initially straightforward and solution-focused, but they are delight in introducing unexpected elements. We aspire for our projects to make a lasting impression, perhaps triggering a sense of familiarity or evoking a cherished memory—a feeling of being "at home."
The goal of Bross is to design spaces where life unfolds naturally. They strive for clarity in form, a playful exploration of proportions, and a harmonious integration with the everyday and the self-evident.

Niklas Runesson is a self-taught craftsman and carpenter raised in Småland, deeply rooted in a family legacy of woodworking. For three generations, his family of woodworkers and engineers, active from 1945 to 2000, specialized in the manufacture of turned toy parts. Building on this rich tradition, Runesson brings his heritage into the present with a contemporary twist.
He creates his pieces intuitively, often relying on simple sketches, almost like memo notes, to guide his process. Drawing inspiration from nature as well as from his imagination, Runesson's work embodies a playful yet mysterious quality. His guiding mantra, "friendly creature," is a theme that reappears in his designs, capturing the whimsical and approachable spirit he infuses into each of his creations.
Elias Svedberg (1913–1987) was a renowned and celebrated Swedish interior architect and furniture designer. After studying under designer Carl Malmsten and gaining experience abroad in the U.S. and around Europe, he embarked on his own architectural practice before joining Nordiska Kompaniet (NK) in 1944.
At NK, Svedberg's career flourished. He became a key figure in the company's interior design division, eventually rising to the role of head of NK-inredning in 1952 and later serving as NK's sales director. During this time, he worked closely with textile artist Astrid Sampe, creating notable designs like the interior for the New York World’s Fair in 1939, as well as the Paris Sofa, first exhibited at the 1937 Paris World Exhibition.
Svedberg's innovative contributions also included the Triva furniture line, a flat-pack furniture concept he developed for NK. Further he was involved in starting NK-Bo where he later became manager. His works have been featured in major exhibitions and collections, including Nationalmuseum in Stockholm.
Today, pieces like the Paris Sofa, Safari Chair and Elias Armchair at Dusty Deco stand as tributes to his legacy, showcasing his mastery in combining timeless aesthetics with functional design.
